Hey all ! We’re entering the final three days of the Vanguard Kickstarter and what a journey this has been. This campaign has gone far beyond anything we expected, and from the bottom of our hearts: thank you.
Your support has been overwhelming. We are deeply grateful for every backer, every comment, and every word of encouragement that helped us reach this point.
Because of you, we’ve been able to plan production with precision. We now know almost exactly how many dice sets we’ll be crafting and we’re thrilled to share that most of the Vanguard dice needed for this Kickstarter are already in production or even finished. The forge is burning bright, and everything is on track for a smooth and well-prepared production cycle.
And as a small sneak peek — here’s a handful of finished Vanguard D12s in Knightsplate Silver, fresh from the forge. 🖤⚔️
💎 Introducing the Vanguard Veteran Necklace !
As we reach these final days, we wanted to offer something special — a small, symbolic piece of the Vanguard collection for you to wear or gift.
During every casting process, a few dice don’t quite meet our aesthetic standards. They may have tiny blemishes, small cracks, or minor surface imperfections that make them unfit to be sold as part of a full set — but they still carry the same craftsmanship and spirit.
We had two options: We could remelt them, or we could give them a new life.
Many of you have told us that our dice would make beautiful jewelry and you were right. So, instead of discarding them, we decided to repurpose these Veteran Dice into necklaces.
Each Vanguard Veteran Necklace is made from an authentic die that didn’t pass our final polish inspection. It’s a unique, battle-worn piece of the collection, and a symbol of resilience and craftsmanship.
The price for the Vanguard Veteran Necklace is just €15 and it makes a wonderful gift for any fantasy lover or tabletop RPG enthusiast, and for anyone who proudly carries the mark of the dice goblin.
It is Now available as a new Add-On directly through the Kickstarter, and will also be available later in the Pledge Manager.
Please note that, because every Veteran die is unique and unpredictable, you won’t be able to choose the specific design or material. We’ll personally select and finish the best ones for you.
We’re incredibly proud of what this campaign has become and endlessly thankful for the community that made it possible. Let’s make these final hours just as exciting as the first ones, and then move forward into production with the same passion that built the Vanguard Collection.

⚒️ From the First Sketch to the Vanguard you see Today 🔥

Three days in and Vanguard has already surpassed 1,000% funding. You made that happen. We funded in just 15 minutes, and every new backer since has only added to the fire that keeps our forge burning.
From all of us here at Ember Forge: thank you for believing in our work, for recognizing the craft and art that go into each of these metal creations. Many of you have followed us since our last collection, and we’ve grown together these last two years.
Today, we wanted to show you where it all began.
These are the “napkin sketches”, the very first doodles that would one day evolve into Vanguard. The drawings you see here are the earliest seeds of the idea .They are somewhat rough and spontaneous shapes where we first explored the lines, symmetry, and soul of what would become this collection. The d10 has retained some of its dna since then but the d12 and d4 have changed completely as you will see :D
To close this update, we’ve prepared something a little special (and, yes, a little cheesy). A short, thematic video .A story of an old adventurer passing down his set of Vanguard dice to the new generation. With blessing and a warning, as any fitting adventure should begin !

We’re live! ⚔️ After years of work, the Vanguard Dice Collection has finally arrived. Each piece is cast, finished, and polished in our forge by hand. Heirloom dice born from the realms of Fantasy and Myth, cast in brass and ready for some awesome adventures :D
